Product Description:


Disperlac 88 is a wetting and dispersing additive developed for solvent-borne industrial and architectural coatings to help stabilize pigments. Steric stabilization allows high gloss to be achieved, and color strength can be improved due to small particles of de-flocculated pigments. Disperlac 88 also improves leveling and allows for higher pigment concentration levels.

The recommended level of usage for solvent-borne coating are:

Inorganic Pigments: 0.5-1.0%

Titanium Dioxide: 0.2-0.5%

Organic Pigments: 1-5%

Disperlac 88 is also suitable for use in powder coatings. It improves wetting and adhesion of powder coatings on poorly cleaned or CRS substrates having no pretreatment. The recommended level for powder coating is 0.5-2.0%.

Laboratory testing is recommended for all applications to optimize performance.
