Product Description:


GMA-302G is a bisphenol-A free crosslinker specifically designed to impart improved thermal stability to coatings formulations that may be exposed to unusually high processing or curing temperatures. GMA-302G can be used as a sole curing agent for acid functional polyesters to make polyester-acrylic hybrids or as a fortifying additive resin at lower levels in systems such as polyester-TGIC or polyester-epoxy hybrids to boost crosslink density, film hardness, and chemical resistance. Dosage of GMA-302G as a crosslinking agent depends on the acid equivalent weight of the specific polyester resin employed in the formulation. As with any raw material, we recommend laboratory evaluation for each formulation to determine the best processing method and optimum concentration of GMA-302.
