Resiflow P-37

Product Description:

Resiflow P-37 performs not only as a flow control agent but may also enhance the surface hardness and stain resistance in applications such as appliance and architectural powder coatings. Resiflow P-37 belongs to the reactive group of Resiflow products. The material is based on a liquid acrylic polymer that has been converted into free-flowing powder by adsorption onto silica-type carrier. Resiflow P-37 is added at the premix stage with the other powder coating raw materials. The active ingredient is released and homogenized with the other components during extrusion, and this results in a uniform system. Surface defects such as orange peel, craters, pinholes, and other imperfections can be reduced or eliminated by incorporating 0.7-1.5% of Resiflow P-37 into powder coating formulations. As with any raw material, laboratory evaluation is required for each formulation to determine the best processing method and the optimum concentration of the additive. It is highly recommended to also test compatibility and recoat adhesion.

Recommendation for Use

  • Powder Coatings
  • Stain Resistance
