At Estron, we are passionate about innovation, and behind that innovative spirit is the drive to be sustainable.

Sustainability is deeply embedded in our company’s culture – how we set policies and procedures, define goals and objectives, plan tasks, perform actions, and generate results.  We strive to optimize the triple bottom line – to make a positive financial, environmental and social impact with the smallest footprint left behind.  This responsible mindset extends to employee safety and health, raw material procurement, packaging and shipping logistics, customer service, regulatory compliance, product commercialization, manufacturing processes, waste minimization and overall business development.

From an environmental standpoint, we deeply respect what nature generously provides in Western Kentucky and appreciate the beauty and bounty of the land, water and air around us.  To help protect and preserve these gifts, we have active programs within our facility to reduce waste and emissions, recycle trash, and reuse chemicals, materials and equipment where and when possible.  We participate in the state of Kentucky Adopt-a-Highway program to make sure the roads in our vicinity stay clean.  Furthermore, we engage in industry-community outreach projects that lend support to social causes and provide educational opportunities in the area, such as Calvert City’s Good Neighbor Night, which has been taking place for 25 years.

We are proud to have initiated a program to eliminate any single-use, non-biodegradable plastics and styrofoam from our manufacturing and corporate headquarters.

Estron’s administrative staff, operators in the manufacturing plant, chemists in the lab, sales reps on the road, management – all of us are guided by practical Sustainability Principles and a meaningful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Policy.
