Isocryl C-78

Isocryl C-78 is a moderate to high Tg carboxyl functional solid acrylic resin suitable for use as a curative resin in epoxy formulations such as acrylic hybrid powder coatings, industrial solvent based coatings, or adhesives. Appropriately formulated, Isocryl C-78 can afford coatings or adhesives with excellent chemical resistance, flexibility, outdoor durability, green strength, modulus and impact resistance. Because of its relatively high acid value, Isocryl C-78 may provide enhanced adhesion to certain substrates and may be a good pigment dispersing resin. As with any raw material, laboratory evaluation is required for each formulation to determine the best processing method and the optimum concentration of the binder components.
