Product Description:

Resiflow CP-77 is a reprocessing aid for minimizing or eliminating powder coating surface imperfections such as craters or color specs caused by cross-contamination during manufacture.  A typical amount of 0.25 – 0.5% of Resiflow CP-77 is added to the contaminated flakes or powder, premixed, re-extruded, and then further processed in the conventional manner.  Bits or protrusions are unlikely to be remediated by reprocessing, and Resiflow CP-77 may not help in that type of surface defect. As with any raw material, laboratory evaluation is required for each formulation to determine the best processing method and the optimum concentration of the additive.  Since cross-compatibility is such a critical attribute of a powder coating system, it is highly recommended to test this property as well as recoat adhesion.  In addition, it should be noted that products that have been modified with Resiflow CP-77 typically demonstrate improved resistance to cratering but conversely may be more prone to cause compatibility issues in other products.

Recommendation for Use
