Resiflow L-5

Resiflow L-5 is an acrylic polymer used in high solids, UV curing, coil, and other coating systems. When incorporated at effective concentrations, it will eliminate air entrapment, correct surface imperfections such as pinholes, craters, and orange peel, and can improve the flexibility of coatings. Resiflow L-5 can be used in acrylics, alkyds, phenolics, epoxies, polyesters, polyurethanes, nitrocellulose lacquers, and other systems. As with other additive ingredients, laboratory evaluation is recommended to optimize the usage level and method of incorporation. Typical dosages are between 0.2-1.5% calculated on the coating binder. Resiflow L-5 is available in powder form as Resiflow PV-60 for powder coating applications. A higher viscosity version of Resiflow L-5, Resiflow L-4, is also available for liquid coating systems.
