Re:  Estron Management During COVID-19

Dear Valued Customer,

As conditions continue to rapidly evolve during the COVID-19 pandemic, we would like to share with you how Estron Chemical is addressing the ongoing challenges within our local, state, national and international communities, as well as our management of the business.  We are continuing to monitor the situation actively on a daily basis in order to ensure that we are not only focused on you, our customer, but also on the safety and health of our employees.

Within our manufacturing, warehouse, laboratory and office facilities, we have adopted strict adherence to safety recommendations from the World Health Organization and other relevant bodies, enforcing social distancing, stringent cleaning, frequent handwashing, remote employee work where possible, and limiting on-site access to only company employees.

Estron made the critical decision to temporarily stop travel at the onset of the crisis.  In recognition that our interactions with customers will need to change for a period of time, we ensured that each of our sales associates around the globe is equipped with home-based offices which are fully capable of providing a complete range of services and support.

Striving to maintain our high level of customer service, Estron has implemented contingency plans and expects that manufacturing will continue as normal, even in the event that personnel were to fall ill.  Due to our important role in the supply chain of coatings for critical infrastructural, we are confident that we meet the definition of “critical businesses” and anticipate being able to continue operations absent truly draconian quarantining measures.  We also continue to make every effort to ensure there will be no shortage of raw materials, including having regional and dual-approved material sourcing.  In some instances, we have had to incur increased costs in order to ensure security of supply and timely deliveries.  Recognizing that our customers are under the same pressure that we are, we are not presently passing these additional costs onward.  We appreciate the loyalty that you have shown us as a supplier, and we are trying our best to reward that loyalty.
