Product Description:


GMA-500 is a solid, glycidyl-functional acrylic crosslinker for exterior durable powder coatings. It is highly branched and can cure with carboxyl and amine-functional compounds. For example, GMA-500 can be used as the sole crosslinking agent with a linear carboxyl polyester resin to create an 80/20 polyester/acrylic hybrid powder coating for protective purposes or cured with dodecanedioic acid to make smooth, high gloss clear top coats.

As with any raw material, laboratory evaluation is required for each formulation to determine the best processing method and the optimum concentration of GMA-500.
