Isocryl® GMA-300G can also be used in specialized applications such as high temperature powder coating formulations based on polysiloxane chemistry. See the Isocryl® GMA-300G Technical Brief #1 for details regarding how this product gives better film integrity than TGIC as the polyester curing agent. Dosage of Isocryl® GMA-300G as a crosslinker depends on the equivalent weight of the polyester resin.
As with any raw material, laboratory evaluation is required for each formulation to determine the best processing method and the optimum concentration of Isocryl® GMA-300G.
