Resiflow LH-240

Resiflow LH-240 is a hydroxyl functional, viscous polyacrylate flow control agent. It is used in general industrial paints, gel coats, clearcoats and automotive paints. In addition to improving flow and leveling, Resiflow LH-240 may also provide improved stain resistance, surface hardness and adhesion. The product has excellent resin compatibility and is especially suitable for clear gel coat applications. See LH- 240 Technical Brief #1. Typical dosage of Resiflow LH-240 is 0.2-1.5% based on the binder solids. As with any raw material, laboratory evaluation is required for each formulation to determine the best processing method and the optimum concentration of the additive. If incorporated at appropriate concentrations, this liquid flow control agent will eliminate air entrapment, correct surface imperfections, improve flow and leveling (orange peel), pinholes, craters, and can improve the flexibility of coatings. Resiflow LH-240 is available in powder form as Resiflow PH-240 for powder coating applications.
