Product Description:


Resiflow PH-241 is a reactive flow control agent that can improve edge coverage and minimize picture framing, as measured by decrease in pill flow. This product is typically used from 0.75 – 2% and is suitable for essentially all binder chemistries including polyesters, hybrids and epoxy based formulations. During the cure cycle, Resiflow PH-241 can react with the binder system of the powder coating and also crosslink with itself. This crosslinking feature may provide improved stain and chemical resistance as well as increased hardness. As with any raw material, laboratory evaluation is required for each formulation to determine the best processing method and the optimum concentration of the additive. Compatibility and recoatability testing are always highly recommended when evaluating a flow control additive.
