Resiflow PL-440 is suitable across a wide spectrum of binder chemistries including polyesters, polyurethanes, hybrids, epoxies, and acrylics.
Surface defects such as orange peel and craters can be reduced or eliminated by incorporating 0.7-1.5% of Resiflow PL-440 in pigmented powder coating formulations. For best results, Resiflow PL-440 should be dry blended with other coating raw materials, then homogenized in a heated extruder.
Resiflow PL-440 should be thoroughly evaluated to determine the best processing method and the optimum concentration of the additive for the user’s specific formulation and equipment. Testing is also recommended to assess recoat adhesion.
